Moto GP is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, with a season of 18 Grand’s Prix in 14 countries bringing together the world’s top motorcycle manufacturers such as Honda,Yamaha,Suzuki,plus an elite crop of riders from every corner of the global .In order to host a Grand Prix,people have to built especial circuit, because the motorcycles used for Moto GP are purpose-built racing prototypes which are unavailable for purchase by the general public and cannot be legally ridden on public roads. Every circuit has its own atmosphere, features and layout. And it has to have facilities and features which allow the weekend to run smoothly, safely and uniformly-throughout the 18 date Moto GP season.
There are three races in Spain every year, including Jerez Moto GP, Catalunya Moto GP and Valencia Moto GP. Set in a valley in the south of Spain, Jerez is blessed with good weather and beautiful scenery. Its numberous grandstands providing the perfect viewing facilities for up to 250000 spectators. The circuit of Jerez is one of the most popular Moto GP venues and the focal point for a city fanatical about sport. The Catalunya Moto GP takes place at Montmelo north of Barcelona. The first international event to be held there was the 1991 Spanish Formula One Grand Prix which remains the home of this event. Valencia City in the village of Cheste.It is named after the local champion and hero. And it hosts the crucial end of season Valencia Moto GP race. In 1999, it became the third Spanish race along with the ones at Jerez and Barcelona. Over the years motorcycle racing has become increasingly popular throughout the world and people travel from far and wide to watch the racing to support their riders and teams .As Valencia just happens to where the last race of the season take’s place, it makes for a real party atmosphere.

MotoGP is one of the only type of racing sports that I enjoy. Others, such as Formula 1, are so dull and boring. MotoGP is interesting because of the fights during the race. You never know who will be first, second and so on.
I enjoy races like the one, where Rossi was way behind everybody and got to the first place or another one where the final 5 laps Rossi and Pedrosa were switching their places all the time.
It's fun when you don't know who is going to win! So right now I want to see a race where Rossi is taking the victory from Stoner in the last and final laps!

All correct by bigdaddy except there is no V – twins in the MOTOGP class, there are V – Fours however.
The 250cc machines ( 2 stroke ) are V – twins &
the 125cc machines ( 2 stroke ) are singles.
I'm sure we all answered this last week.
WSB : Road based machines. Very tight rule book.
4 cly = 1000cc 2 cly = 1200cc.
The starting bike must have sold 3000 [ or something like that] by mid season.
MOTOGP :
One off pure race driven protoype 800cc missiles.
No road bike starting base. Yes very tight rules, but you make massive changes any time you like.
The MotoGP also runs the 250cc 2 stroke class [ soon to change to 450cc Twins / 600cc Fours] & the 125cc 2 stroke World Championships.

You do need to subscribe for the year. Its about €55 for the full year, but they do have offers on half seasons prices. I dont know if this will allow you to see races that have been run already though.
I pay for for the full service of €55 a year and it is fantastic. I have said it before, and I say it again, I dont work for them nor do I get paid, but when a service is good, they deserve a mention.

GP bikes don't have a starter motor,but they do have a small battery to run electronics.They are started up with a trolley with an engine and small wheel,which is placed against rear wheel to spin it up.

i agree with proc and wiggy here. As for racing MotoGP it is too late. BUT if you want to race bikes, around the US is about as far as you will get into the motorcycle racing world. If you just want to race bikes then ask the question again but ask like " how to get into motorcycle racing" or something like that. You will get better answers about other types of racing.
