Fernando Alonso with his Ferrari car makes the best for Lap Record in 1:58.287 time.Fernando Alonso led a perfectly judged race to emulate Nigel Mansell and Kimi Raikkonen and accelerated with a win in his debut with Ferrari at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday. Alonso chasing Sebastian Vettel Red Bull fleet in vain in the early stages, when both ran super-soft tires Bridgestone, but he had an advantage after the change for both tougher tires on the 16 and 17 laps.

The result gave Ferrari the perfect start in the league with 43 points ahead of McLaren-Mercedes 21, Mercedes-GP, 18 and 16 at the Red Bull. Alonso leads the race title with 25 points from 18 to Massa, Hamilton, 15, 12 Vettel, Rosberg and Schumacher 10-8

My Opinion:

Michael Schumacher, Mercedes, 6th

F1 legend Michael Schumacher makes his much heralded return to Grand Prix racing this season. The seven time Formula 1 champion finished sixth on his comeback for Mercedes, but showed strong race pace. His young team-mate Nico Rosberg finished one place ahead.
